    We offer three options depending on your location and preferences:

    In-Home Personal Training — Available in Chesapeake, VA and surrounding areas. Your Featherweight Fitness trainer brings all equipment to you.

    Virtual Personal Training — Live, 1:1 coaching through Zoom or FaceTime.

    Customized Online Coaching — A personalized workout program you follow on your own with weekly trainer check-ins.

  4. Do I have to go to a gym?

    Not at all. You can train:

    –> In your apartment or condo gym

    Or virtually from anywhere. No gym membership required.

  5. Do I need to own equipment?

    For in-home personal training, your Featherweight Fitness trainer brings everything you need. For virtual or online coaching, we build your program around the equipment you already have—even if that’s just a set of resistance bands and bodyweight.

  6. Is this personal training for beginners?

    Yes. Most Featherweight Fitness clients are beginners or are returning to fitness after time away. We specialize in:

    Absolutely! I work with clients all over Virginia Beach, from Town Center to the Oceanfront. Whether you prefer sessions at home, at your apartment or condo gym, or even outdoors, we’ll make it work.

  17. What about Norfolk — do you go there too?

    Yes, I regularly work with clients in Norfolk, from NOB (Naval Station Norfolk) all the way to Ghent and the surrounding neighborhoods. You don’t need to worry about equipment—I’ll bring everything you need.

  18. I live in Portsmouth or Suffolk. Can I still train with you?

    For clients who enjoy training outdoors, popular parks like Mount Trashmore, Oak Grove Park, and other local spots are great options. We’ll choose a location that’s convenient and comfortable for you.
